Insurance
Insurance is a form of risk management in which a person or entity receives financial protection or reimbursement against losses from insurance companies. The insurer pools the risks of many individuals to create a large pool of funds that can be used to pay out claims in the event of a loss. In exchange for this protection, the policyholder pays a premium to the insurance company, which is used to cover the cost of claims and administrative expenses, and to generate profits for the company.
